Chiropractic Services
Chiropractic means to be done by hand. It is grounded in the principle that the body can heal itself when the skeletal system (muscles, bones, and nerves) is properly aligned.
To achieve this, the doctor uses his hands or an adjusting tool called the Activator to perform specific manipulations of the vertebrae, the bones in your spinal column.
When the bones of the spine are not correctly articulated this results in a condition called a subluxation. This causes disrupted nerve transmissions resulting in pain, dysfunction and eventually leads to a symptom or illness.
Injuries & Pain
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a term that describes the application of ice to reduce the temperature of tissues directly on or below the surface of the skin.
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold Laser Therapy delivers a specific light energy in the form of photons, to damaged cells in order to increase blood flow and stimulate natural physiological activity.
Electric Muscle Stimulation
is a form of electrical current administered at the site of pain, soft tissue injury, swelling, post-cast removal, or on some post-surgical areas.
Superficial Heat
Heat is applied to the surface of the skin, which enlarges blood vessels below the surface, relaxing tissues and temporarily relieving painful symptoms. It is an easy way to increase range of motion, flexibility, and speed healing. Heat is only recommended after 48 hours of any new injury or for the relaxation of tissues in people with chronic muscle tension.
Therapeutic Exercise
Specific exercises to help rehabilitate the spine or an extremity. It is a set of repetitive stretching, strengthening, or endurance maneuvers designed to develop weakened or injured muscle groups that support the spine.

Therapeutic Massage
Massage is a term describing a variety of techniques using the hands to stimulate and sooth the soft tissues of the body. It works by kneading and manipulating muscles to relax them and uses friction at times to stimulate the soft tissues. This can increase blood and lymph circulation while breaking up scar tissue between muscle fibers.
Trigger Point Therapy
An uncontrolled muscle tightness causing tenderness which interferes with normal muscle function. This restricts normal range of motion, weakens the muscle, decreases muscle endurance and may refer pain to other parts of the body. A racquet ball is used to gently press down into the skim, to locate underlying tight bands or nodules of muscle fibers. Once a tender spot is located, maintain moderate compression on it for up to 30 seconds or until it relaxes.
Ultrasound Therapy
Ultrasound Therapy is a therapeutic treatment using high-frequency sound waves administered in the region of soft tissue injuries. The sound vibrations as fast as a million times a second, penetrate tissues deep in the body, creating a heat response, that breaks down and disperses unhealthy calcium and other hard tissue accumulations and cross fibers in scar tissue. A gel is used to conduct the sound waves below the surface of the skin. Most patients feel a mild heating and relaxing sensation in their muscles.
